Artificial Tennis Turf - New Jersey
The sport of tennis may be played on many different court types. Each surface has its
own characteristics of bounce, speed and slide, which differ significantly between the
court types. Artificial tennis turf simulating lawn are well known. Depending upon the
fiber density and height, a synthetic turf court will meet the ITF (International Tennis
Federation) court standards for a medium or fast rating.Synthetic turf for courts is
manufactured using a flexible backing sheet into which is stitched (tufted) parallel rows
of synthetic yarn which extend upwards of the backing sheet to simulate blades of grass.
Our special RQS infill material is worked between the blades, to hold the blades
generally upright and to provide resilience to the sports surface.
